International Colour Day

March 21st is International Colour Day.

This wonderful idea originated at the Portuguese Colour Association, which presented the proposal to the International Colour Association and approved the celebration of this day on March 21st, 2009.

Colours significantly influence our emotions, attitudes, and behaviours through visual perception.

Why is Colour Day celebrated on March 21st?

This is because March 21st marks the equinox, the phenomenon of day and night, simbolizing light and darkness, brightness and shadow.

How does colour affect people?

Recent studies and research have shown that colours affect people's emotions, attitudes and decisions.
