Wordle is a project created by Josh Wardle, a Reddit engineer. The name of the game is a combination of words from his last name.
He put an o instead of an a so that the term word appears, which in English means word. He initially created it to use with his partner, but in 2021 he made it public. Wordle exists in several languages such as Chinese, African, Finnish, Spanish, or Uzbek.
The 5-letter word of the day Game:
- The objective is to guess a hidden word in a total of six attempts.
- After each attempt the color of the letters will change depending on how correct the player is: in grey, yellow or green.
