LA MARJAL PARK

The Marjal park is located in Alicante. This is so that the heavy rains do not flood the city of Alicante, causing the water to flood the park instead of the city. 

In addition, there are areas that are suitable for having a picnic with your family and there is a lake with a large number of animals, among others: Common Sparrow, Tortola, Wood Pigeon, Magpie and Kingfisher.

 It also has a viewpoint from which you can see the entire park.

The works began in April 2013 and ended in March 2015. It was built by Alicante City Council and the company Aguas Municipalizadas de Alicante E.M.

And tomorrow, to celebrate the end of the term, we are going on a trip to La Marjal, weather permitting.
