This day is celebrated because UNESCO decided to establish February 13th as radio day and its celebration coincides with the day on which United Nations Radio was created: February 13th, 1946. The objetive of the International Radio Day is to make the radio an interactive medium, which encounrages the debate to discus different topics that interest the comunity.  |
