  • It is an orthodox church at the  Red Square in Moscow.
  • Ivan III designed it in 1924.
  • The new square served ad as venue for markets, later for public ceremonies and proclamations.
  • It is in charge of separating the Kremlin from the comercial district of  Kitay-górod.
  • The square was created at the iniciative of Ivan III,who decided to eliminate the set of precarious wooden buildings.
